Laurent Pierre, Jr.
Senior Managing Partner
Laurent Pierre, Jr. is the co-founder and Senior Managing Partner of The
Internet Business Store, LLC. For the past 15 years, Laurent has acquired
broad experience in information technology, web design & development, and
web maintenance. His expertise stems from a strong background in small
business development, small business management, and establishing numerous
profitable web properties. Laurent has held positions in Washington, DC at:
The World Bank Group, National Distributing Company, ACS Desktop (now
Lockheed IT), Capitol Hill (US Senate & House offices), and the US Peace
Corps headquarters.
Laurent's diverse background includes financial analysis and management,
small business management, information systems management & integration,
client relationship management, technical support & training, and managing
web infrastructure development.
He is responsible for building and maintaining Ibizstore.com's customer
relationships, partner relationships, overseeing corporate development,
company operations, strategic investment, and pursuing new market and
service opportunities.
Laurent holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International
Business from Howard University, and earned two MBAs in Financial Management
and Management from Southeastern University.
Carmen Alexandra Charles Pierre
Chief Marketing Officer
C. Alexandra Charles Pierre is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer
for The Internet Business Store, LLC. Alexandra plays a key role in
executing the marketing strategy set forth by our executive team. She has
broad experience in project management, budgeting, copywriting, advertising,
marketing, public relations, and film/video production.
Carmen is responsible for spearheading marketing initiatives at
Ibizstore.com, including product marketing, corporate branding and
positioning, marketing communications, corporate communications, and our
overall market strategy.
Carmen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Florida International
University, a Master of Fine Arts in Film/Video Production & Distribution
from Howard University, and an MBA in Marketing from Southeastern
University.
Margot A. Alert
Vice-President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer
As Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at The Internet
Business Store, LLC. Margot Alert is responsible for Ibizstore.com's
finances, corporate services, and procurement.
Margot has more than 25 years of administration, financial analysis,
financial transaction control, and accounting experience primarily with the
World Bank headquarters in Washington, DC.
Margot holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Middlesex University
(United Kingdom) and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University
of Maryland. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
